Metra delays after person struck by train

Chicago police and fire departments were responding to the incident, which happened near the intersection of Racine and Carroll.

Milwaukee North outbound Train #2109 was involved in the incident, according to the Metra website. As of 9:45 a.m., the train was scheduled to arrive Fox Lake at 10:08 a.m. and was operating 25 to 30 minutes behind schedule.

Other Metra trains were also being delayed. North Central Service Line Train #103 was running about 10 to 15 minutes late because of the incident.
