The car apparently lost control, ramming into the Green Line exit at Laramie and Lake Street at approximately 11 p.m. Monday.
An initial report said two people in the vehicle were hurt and could be suffering serious injuries.
The crash caused extensive damage to the gate and stairs of the CTA structure, but the station was cleared of debris and was open to commuters Tuesday morning.
