Thanks to some generous donors, they made it and are doing pretty well.
They sent ABC7 a video from their games. The 11- and 12-year-olds placed fourth in the country, and the 13- and 14-year-olds did the same.
We are waiting to hear the results from two other age groups, but both are competing to be third in the nation.
