AeroShot Pure Energy is a caffeine inhaler about the size of a lipstick tube that is supposed to hit stores in Boston and New York on January 1st. Each shot has 100 milligrams of caffeine, which is about equal to a cup of coffee.
New York Senator Charles Schumer wants more research done before AeroShot hits store shelves. He wants the Food and Drug Administration regulate the products.
Company officials say AeroShot is not intended for children under 12.
