Teachers union handing contract demands to CPS

The Chicago Teachers Union plans to submit its four-year contract demands to Chicago Public Schools Wednesday.

The union says it did not plan to make the contract demands public, but that could change.

Issues on the table this time are class size, loss of professional development days, compensation, and what next school year's 7.5-hour school day will look like.

Chicago Public Schools could be giving their offer to the teachers union later Wednesday, as well.
