Cook County Board encourages voting

March 19, 2012 (CHICAGO)

Chairman Langdon Neal of the Cook County Board of Election Commissioners says he's optimistic about tomorrow's voter turnout despite what he called a disappointing number of voters who cast their ballots early this year.

Neal says this will be the first election allowing voters to bring smartphones, for information, into the voting booth.

Polling places will be open tomorrow from 6 a.m. until 7 p.m.
