The 12-year-old said he was going to dedicate his time at bat to his mother, Kathy Dozier, who is battling stage 4 melanoma. And he sure did- hitting not only a home run, but a grand slam.
Mason's mom said she knew something good was going to happen when he stepped up to home plate. Her son even tipped his hat at her from the dugout.
