New Jersey's governor is postponing Halloween in his state over unsafe conditions in the wake of Superstorm Sandy.

Governor Chris Christie signed an executive order Wednesday moving Halloween celebrations to Monday.

In a news release, Christie said he took the action to minimize public safety risks as New Jersey begins the rebuilding and recovery process.
