Report: Fertility may have hereditary influence

A new report in the journal Human Reproduction suggests women whose mother's had an early menopause had far fewer eggs in her ovaries.

Women with fewer eggs can have a tougher time conceiving.

Researchers say their study supports the idea that ovarian reserve is influenced by hereditary factors.

But they say their advice remains the same.

No matter what your genetic background the younger you start trying for a baby the more likely you are to be successful.
