Man stabbed, car stolen at E. Chicago train station

Police in northwest Indiana are searching for a suspect who allegedly stabbed a man at a commuter train station and then stole his car.

He approached the victim in the bathroom of the South Shore Station in East Chicago, according to police.

Police said the attacker took the man's keys, wallet and cell phone and then ran to the parking lot and drove off in the victim's car.

The victim's injuries were not life threatening. He was waiting for his wife's train to arrive when he was attacked.
