Schaumburg WW2 veteran honored by France

A decorated veteran from Schaumburg got a new medal this one from the government of France.

During a ceremony here in Chicago, James Butz received the Legion of Honor for his bravery during World War Two.

The medal is the highest distinction that France can bestow upon those who make extraordinary contributions to the country.

The ceremony ended with a toast, Butz saying he never turns down a glass of champagne.
