The Salvation Army will run the child care facility, which can serve 36 infants and toddlers. One official says the school acknowledges that life changes when you become a mom.
"All parents understand that sometimes you need a little extra support to achieve your goals and balance all of the demands that come along with parenthood," said Leon Denton, of the Salvation Army.
The day care center will provide head start services, and the school also has a health clinic.
