Teens are taking summer jobs while many recent college graduates are looking to start their careers.
So what kind of job market will they find this year?
A survey by CareerBuilder found that 53 percent of U.S. employers plan to hire recent college graduates this year. That's comparable to last year and up from 46 percent in 2011 and 44 percent in 2010.
As for 16-to-19-year-olds, the outplacement firm Challenger, Gray and Christmas expects employment gains for the months of May, June and July to surpass last year's levels when they grew by nearly 1.4 million.
Joining to discuss the job outlook for teens and recent college graduates are Rosemary Haefner, vice president of human resources with CareerBuilder, and John Challenger, the chief executive officer of Challenger, Gray and Christmas.
