The Hyatt Regency McCormick Place unveiled its multi-million dollar expansion and renovation Tuesday. It features a new 460-room tower, renovated restaurants, meeting and public spaces.
The hotel's existing 800 guest rooms were also renovated. Mayor Rahm Emanuel says this will help attract more conventions to Chicago.
"This will be an economic engine that will continue to bring families, business, retail and all the other commercial development," he said.
This now becomes the fourth largest Hyatt in the world and the fourth largest hotel in Chicago.
