It happened at 6 a.m. in Country Club Hills near 169th and Glen Oaks.
Police say the women were walking from their house to their garage when they were approached and one of the men put his gun to the mother's head.
The women gave them jewelry, cell phones and money, but then managed to run to a neighbor's home.
Police are still looking for the suspects.
