The crash happened around 10:30 a.m. at Western and Lemoyne.
According to the CTA, the bus was in the intersection when the truck carrying a load of bricks hit it.
Nine people were transported to area hospitals. No one appeared to have serious injuries.
The crash did cause bus delays.
