The shooting happened Tuesday morning in the 7400-block of S. Colfax. Police say the gunman was in a gray or light-colored SUV that went south on Colfax.
The victim is a 34-year old man. His name has not been released. Chicago Police News Affairs says the victim was shot in the back and leg.
A spokesperson says several vehicles were damaged but no postal workers were hurt.
