The e-mails claim to be from the U.S. Postal Service and contain fraudulent information about an attempted or intercepted package delivery or online postage charges.
The e-mails direct customers to click on a link to open the attachment or print the label. When opened, then link installs a malicious virus onto the customer's computer that can steal personal information.
The U.S. Postal Service is advising customers to delete the message without further action.
