The Bronzeville community finished in the top ten out of 61 neighborhoods in the U.S. and Canada that made the list.
Criteria for an old house neighborhood included architectural diversity, craftsmanship of the homes and preservation momentum in the area. Amenities, including walkability, safety and community were also taken into consideration.
