The event for Fenger Academy was co-hosted by Michael Jordan's former wife, Juanita. She is an alum.
Jordan estimates they raised $140,000-150,000.
"It means a lot more so because I know that it's giving back to the community, giving back to the school I graduated from and overall just helping kids in general," said Juanita Jordan, Fenger Academy alumna.
The money raised will go toward programs to improve education and teach skills students can use in the workplace.
