The Chicago City Council is holding their monthly meeting Wednesday and among the items on the agenda is regulating electronic cigarettes.

This week a council committee voted to place them under the same restrictions as tobacco.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel will also introduce his new housing plan.

Some aldermen and residents are calling on him to revise it so the number of units torn down matches the number being built.

Several appointments are being looked at including commissioners of buildings and city transportation.
