Democratic candidate for governor Tio Hardiman hand-delivered a letter inviting Governor Pat Quinn to join him for a series of debates.

Hardiman and his running mate Brunell Donald stopped by Quinn's campaign office on West Randolph in Chicago.

No one responded when they buzzed. So they slipped the letter under the door.

Hardiman is calling for a series of televised debates. He says he's reached out to Quinn several times but hasn't gotten a response.
