Police say the teen driver turned in front of a police cruiser Monday night at the intersection of Route 14 and Dean Street. The squad slammed into a third vehicle stopped at the traffic light.
The roof of the police car had to be cut open to get the officer out. He's been treated and released.
The teen driver was ticketed for failing to yield.
