CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Art Institute of Chicago has announced free admission for Chicago teenagers.

The director of public affairs said they realized that just one-tenth of teenage visitors last year came from Chicago, not including school trips.

To grow that number, the museum is now letting any Chicagoans who are 17 or younger in for free.

Admission is already free for anyone under the age of 14.
