2015 Volkswagen Golf named Motor Trend car of the year

Motor Trend magazine has named the Volkswagen Golf the 2015 car of the year.

The award is for all four versions of the redesigned golf. The honor is based on several factors, including design advancement, efficiency, safety and value.

The VW Golf beat out the Honda Fit, Audi A3, the BMW 2-series and the Mercedes Benz C-class.
