Costco sold 400,000 cars in 2014

More car buyers are shopping at Costco, as the membership wholesale chain sold nearly 400,000 new and used vehicles last year.

That's twice as many as it sold in 2008, which places Costco right behind the number one car retailer Auto Nation, which sold more than 500,000 vehicles last year.

Costco's auto program features fixed prices and no haggling with participating car dealerships.
