Bank near Midway robbed just before closing time

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A bank was robbed just before closing time near Midway Airport Tuesday night.

A Fifth Third Bank branch at 5241 W. 63rd St. was robbed around 4:48 p.m., according to the FBI.

Authorities said the suspect walked in, demanded money, then took off. He did not show a weapon and no one was injured.
