CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some Chicago school children can look forward to starting the new school year with new wheels.
Saint Sabina Church partnered with Working Bikes to give 100 bicycles away at its weekly peace walk Friday night. Organizers hope it helps bring the community closer together.
"Somebody asked me the question, well is it could to give out bikes because is it safe? We're going to make it safe," said Saint Sabina Pastor Michael Pfleger.
Along with a bike, kids got a helmet and bike lock.
