CHICAGO (WLS) -- Actor Bill Murray has expanded a new line of golf wear that in part pays tribute to his beloved Chicago Cubs.
William Murray Golf was released on the actor's 66th birthday and features one shirt mimicking his beloved Cubs' baseball uniform. The expanded line also includes shirts patterned with cocktails and fireworks.
The company said the line breaks away from traditional golf apparel "by bringing a new look and feel to the industry with a little irreverence and a lot of style."
Murray is an avid golfer and has played in many celebrity tournaments. One of his most famous roles was in the 1980 sports comedy, "Caddyshack." He worked as a caddie at courses on the North Shore while growing up in north suburban Wilmette.
Murray is also an enthusiastic Cubs fan, seen often at home games rooting the team on. Most recently he was spotted at the first game of the National League Division Series wearing a t-shirt that proclaimed "I Ain't Afraid of No Goats."
