After the Blackhawks dodged the Kings' first attempt to eliminate them Wednesday, tension in the Western Conference finals has heightened as Chicago's win made the series 3-2 in overtime during Game 5.

The hawks will have another opportunity Friday night during Game 6, but this time on Los Angeles' turf.

"We've got to pull it out in LA," said Tom Clevinger, a Blackhawks fan. "We've got to pull this out."

"It is do or die, but I'm not worried, I have a lot of confidence in the Blackhawks," said Deb Toth, a Blackhawks fan.

A Blackhawks victory in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals on Friday night would pull the hawks into a 3-3 tie in the best-of-seven series and set up a Game 7 showdown at the United Center on Sunday.

As Chicago embraces the Chicago Blackhawks, fans say a loss would be devastating because it would mean the end of a potential dynasty that earned two Stanley Cup titles this decade.

"It's really exciting to be in the city right now, to be a part of this," said Chicagoan Joy Stubbs.
