Blackhawks partnering with Navy Pier ice rink

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Blackhawks are now an official partner of the new ice rink at Navy Pier.

The covered outdoor rink opened in June.

The Blackhawks officially kicked the partnership off on Thursday by hosting a youth hockey group.

Former Blackhawk player Daniel Carcillo was on hand signing autographs.

The ice rink is scheduled to remain open through the end of October.
