Child shot in face with bow and arrow in NC

CARY, N.C. -- Cary, N.C., police are investigating an incident where an 8-year-old child was reportedly shot with a bow and arrow on Cameron Pond Drive off Carpenter Fire Station Road around 4 p.m.

Cary police said two boys were playing outside with the bow and arrow, and they believe one shot the other in the face.

The boy was taken to Duke with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating.
