Police: Burglars targeting high-end shops in Bucktown

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some high-end clothing stores are on high alert after a couple of burglaries in the Bucktown neighborhood.

Two stores in the 1700-block of N. Damen have been hit. The most recent was in the overnight hours last Thursday.

Police say the crooks break into the stores and steal large quantities of merchandise and the cash register. They get away using a rental truck.

Authorities say the burglaries may have been captured on surveillance video.
