CHICAGO (WLS) -- City attorneys filed a motion Wednesday to vacate a judge's orders prohibiting the release of video in the January 2013 fatal police shooting of Cedrick Chatman.
City Law Department officials say they expect the video to be released Thursday.
Chatman's family had previously requested that Judge Robert Gettleman overrule the previous ruling, which included protective orders regarding the video's release.
Both parties will appear in court at 9 a.m. Thursday to discuss the motion to vacate.
