Dog stolen on CTA Red Line train between Wilson and Howard stops

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman said her emotional support dog was stolen while she was riding on a CTA Red Line train.

Terry Perkins said she was riding the Red Line and was between the Wilson and Howard stops when she dozed off, then awoke to find her dog Elsa was gone.

She's now upset and at a loss without her pet, who often rode the train with her.

Perkins adopted Elsa earlier this year. Chicago police are investigating.
