Man, 44, fatally shot in head on NW Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 44-year-old male was shot in the head while standing on the street on the city's Northwest side, police say.

A vehicle pulled up around 2:20 p.m. Sunday in the 2800-block of North Lotus in the Cragin neighborhood. An armed offender exited, shot the man and fled.

There is no vehicle description and no word on if the victim has any gang affiliations.
