Teen charged in Bucktown armed robbery, victim shot in the eye

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 18-year-old woman has been charged in connection with a robbery on the city's North Side Monday night.

Mark Gill was walking down an alley in Bucktown when police say he was shot in the eye. Gill said he has lost the sight in his left eye.

Makiah Burns is charged with armed robbery and her bail has been set at $250,000. The Chicago Tribune has reported that she is Loyola University student.
