Sanchez family pleads for hit and run driver to turn self in

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The family of Chris Sanchez held a wake for him Thursday night. Sanchez, 34, was killed in an hit-and-run when an SUV struck him early Sunday morning at Belmont and Milwaukee.

The family is pleading with the driver to turn themselves in.

"We just hope that whoever did this is going to have the courage to step forward," said Maria Cartage, Sanchez's cousin.

The vehicle was captured on surveillance video and a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
