'Posada' reenacts journey to Bethlehem

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A holy celebration was held at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago's Gold Coast community where people gathered for a Latin-American Christmas tradition known as "The Posada."

"The Posada" is a reenactment of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem and their search for shelter.

Participants were part of a procession around the city which ended with a party in the cathedral's parking lot.
