CHICAGO (WLS) -- Clarence Sams, 24, was charged in the murder Arthur Hearn. The 88-year-old was knocked to the ground and robbed in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood last month.
Sams, of the 9200-block of South Dobson Avenue, was charged with first-degree murder and robbery. He is the second man charged in Hearn's death.
Samuel Higgins, 29, was previously charged was charged with murder and robbery last week.

Police said Sams pushed Hearn to the ground and went through his pockets while the elderly man was waiting for the bus just before 5 p.m. on Sept. 25.
Surveillance video shows the attack in the 8500-block of South Cottage Grove Avenue. The suspects flagged down police and directed them to the victim in the video. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died of injuries three days later.
Hearn was a great grandfather and beloved barber in his community for decades.
Sams is due in bond court on Wednesday.
