CHICAGO -- A CTA worker was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after he fell onto the Green Line tracks at a South Side station.
The worker fell onto the tracks shortly after 7:30 a.m. at the Ashland/63rd Station, according to CTA spokesman Brian Steele.
The worker did not make contact with the third rail and was taken to the hospital as a precaution, Steele said.
Trains were temporarily halted at the station, but were on the move again by 7:55 a.m., the agency reported.
