Daily Herald: Heroin in the suburbs

Suburban communities are making progress in the fight against heroin. DuPage is among the few in the nation to have a countywide Narcan training program in place for all police officers, and Lake County recently launched a similar initiative.

The number of people dying is going down, but the fight is far from over. The Daily Herald is kicking off a project on heroin in the suburbs.
