CHICAGO (WLS) -- DePaul University is trying to contain an outbreak of the stomach flu on campus in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Some 30 students are sick with symptoms including vomiting and diarrhea. It started with a cluster of students at one residence hall. Now it has spread to other dorms.

Crews will be sanitizing those buildings Friday morning.

In the meantime, students are urged to remember the all-important rule for flu season: wash your hands frequently.
