2 teens shot, 1 fatally, in East Chatham, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One of two teenagers shot in the city's East Chatham neighborhood has died, officials said.

The two boys, ages16 and 17, were standing in the 8200-block of South Ingleside when police say someone walked up and started shooting. Both teens were rushed to the hospital, where the 16-year-old died.

The 17-year-old is now listed in stable condition.

No other details have been released.
