Edgewater Beach high-rise fire put out, no injuries

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Firefighters have put out a fire in a high-rise in Chicago's Edgewater Beach neighborhood.

Officials said the fire broke out Thursday afternoon in a unit on the 13th floor of the Granville Beach Condominiums in the 6100-block of N. Sheridan Rd.

The fire has been contained and no one was injured, officials said.

Building managers are asking residents to remain in their units.
