900-foot slip 'n' slide coming to Chicago this weekend

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Looking for a way to stay cool this weekend? A 900-foot slip 'n' slide is coming to Chicago this weekend.

"Slide the City" will get underway Saturday on Cricket Hill at Montrose Beach. Three padded 300-foot slides will allow riders to slide the full length on inflated tubes.

Thousands showed up for the "Slide the City' event in northwest suburban Carpentersville last weekend.

Tickets for the Chicago event are still available. The slides will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
