Rubik's Cube turns 40 years old

April 26, 2014 (WLS) -- One of the most iconic puzzles in the world is turning 40 years old. The Rubik's cube was invented in 1974.

In honor of the occasion, the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey has an entire exhibit dedicated to it.

"Beyond Rubik's Cube" explores not only the cube but its influence on science, technology and the arts over the past 40 years.

This is the first stop on a nationwide tour of the exhibit.
