Washington Park hosts African Festival of the Arts

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's Washington Park is transformed into an authentic African village for the 26th annual African Festival of the Arts Labor Day weekend.

The festival features 300 vendors from Africa. Visitors can buy artifacts, textiles, crafts and museum quality artwork.

There is also African-influenced food, music and dance.
