CHICAGO (WLS) -- June marks 30 years since one of the most dramatic and memorable standoffs in history, when Hezbollah militants hijacked a TWA jetliner in the Middle East.
Terrorists ordered the plane to hopscotch across the region. They killed one passenger and beat others.
Some of those on the plane were part of a pilgrimage group from the Chicago suburbs.
This is ABC7 Eyewitness News' original coverage from June of 1985.
