CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Academy for the Artsis bringing together some of Chicago's top chefs to support the school in an annual gala.
"A Taste for the Arts" will feature amazing food, and dazzling performances on Tuesday at the Harris Theater.
"A Taste for the Arts" is The Chicago Academy of the Arts' primary fundraising event, and provides critical support for the ongoing success of the rigorous academic and artistic curriculum that provides students with the fundamental tools to become the artistic, business and civic leaders of tomorrow.
Funds raised through the event will support the Academy's acclaimed arts education curriculum and scholarship fund. Chef Yongho Cho, executive chef of Kamehachi, and Lisa Torres, co-chair of "A Taste for the Arts," gave ABC 7 a taste of the upcoming event.

Guests will be treated to a performance at the Harris Theater at 6 p.m. and will proceed to the Millennium Park Terrace at 7:30 p.m.

Individual gala tickets start at $350, with reserved tables starting at $5,000. Gala performance-only tickets are available for $30 to $75 each.
